| Mirror Lake and the Nature Walk are located on the gatehouse side of Riverbend about 1/2 mile from the cabin. It's an easy drive with parking right by beach, or at the picnic shelter overlooking the lake. The lake has a nice sandy beach with roped off swimming area for little ones, a boardwalk for fishing and an open area at the end to dive from. Our canoe stays locked on the boat rack, but the key is at the cabin. Paddles & lifejackets are stored in the garage. There's even a "Little Library" located at the upper picnic shelter in case you're looking a new book! |
